Current Openings:
Senior Steel Trader / Steel Trader

  • Bachelor Degree or above
  • 3+ years relevant experience in the steel or related sectors in a similar position (Less experience will be consider as trader instead of senior trader)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, detailed-minded and able to work independently under pressure
  • Good knowledge in international trade flows
  • Strong relationship and connection with steel mills and customers worldwide
  • Good commercial, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, Mandarin; an additional language is a plus
  • Able to demonstrate self-discipline & self-motivation to operate in a dynamic environment
  • Willing to travel
  • Good understanding in shipping terms, letters of credit, contract details, ocean freight...etc; future trading is a plus

    • Main Responsibilities:
  • To generate new businesses on steel products such as HRC/CRC/GI/WIRE ROD/REBAR/BILLET/SECTION... etc into/from different markets
  • Establish/maintain strong relationship with steel mills and customers
  • Generating purchase/sales strategies and negotiating new businesses
  • Keep the team updated on market information regularly
